At the age of seventeen, Vera Sidika began her modeling career as a plus-size model, competing in competitions and fashion shows. In order to further her education in art and design, she relocated to Nairobi in 2009 and enrolled at Kenyatta University. This allowed her the chance to fully advance her profession.
