Troll Official Trailer

Something gigantic has awoken as Netflix releases the official trailer for the upcoming Norwegian film titled Troll. View trailer below.

When an ancient troll is awakened in a Norwegian mountain, a rag-tag group of heroes must come together to try and stop it from wreaking deadly havoc.

Hmmm….quite interesting. Sort of kind of reminds of 2010’s Troll Hunter, which saw several humans exploring the Norwegian folklore of ancient Trolls. In this movie, it looks to have a lot more action, with the monstrous size Trolls wreaking havoc on the countryside. The story might be a little bit dated and cliche from what was shown in the trailers, but I do think that visual effects look pretty decent. I am quite interested that the movie is mostly going to be made up and spoken (at least in the trailers) in a foreign language (Norwegian) rather than mostly the prominent English language as well as starring Norwegian acting talents. In the end, while it’s clear not going to be an Oscar-worthy movie, I’m sure Troll might be a fun “B-Movie” endeavor that will surely delight fans of the giant monster variety.
