CHRISTALL KAY IS STLL FIGHTING TO GET HER MANSION BACK

In 2020, Bubu put down a R5 million deposit on Kay’s mansion and moved in. Bubu was given time to pay R3 million more, but the reality TV star said she did not pay.

“I gave her notice of cancellation in terms of the contract when no payment was forthcoming. She had already been given a 3-month extension. She didn’t pay an instalment and tried to pay the last amounts through a bond.”

However, she says that they did not have a bond agreement, but a cash agreement.

According to Kay, Bubu then applied to the High Court to have the sale cancellation declared invalid, the court ruled against Bubu.

Following the court ruling, Kay was ready to move back into her house but Bubu noted an appeal which has prevented her further from doing so.

“She is under the illusion that she owns my house. The eviction application was delayed due to objections that were dismissed by the magistrate, and is now to be heard in March,” Kay explained.

‘THIS CASE IS DRAINING MY FUNDS’

Kay says she is currently renting and she is also still paying bond costs, rates and levies on a property se does not occupy.

“This is not a joke. This case is draining my funds. It is just a thought, but I’m considering crowdfunding.

“The cost of paying for alternative accommodation as well as still having to pay for the bond costs, rates and levies on my own property have forced me into a stressful financial position. At the moment, the matters are worsened by not having a steady income and still supporting my nine-year-old son.

“The law definitely favours the illegal occupier as can be seen from my case. I am suffering severe financial losses while she doesn’t pay a cent to be in my house.”

According to Zimoja, Kay is “desperate for a gig and can take anything.” However, she says that this is not true.

The fruit’s natural juice and seeds are rich in nutrients that offer multiple benefits. From controlling blood sugar levels to improving memory, pomegranates are a wonder fruit that can be an excellent addition to your diet.
