Halala! Kelly Khumalo’s attorney ties the knot in Islamic wedding

 South African attorney Magdalene Moonsamy, who represents singer Kelly Khumalo, tied the knot to her long-distance partner Jihad Abdulmumit in an Islamic wedding earlier this month.

KELLY KHUMALO’S ATTORNEY MAGDALENE MOONSAMY TIES THE KNOT

Attorney Magdalene Moonsamy – who represents singer Kelly Khumalo – got married to Jihad Abdulmumit earlier this month. The pair had an Islamic wedding and tied the knot at the Turkish Mosque in South Africa.

This is Moonsamy’s second marriage. According to Capital Newspapers, Moonsamy married Pragasen Pather in 2015.

The Citizen reported that the attorney looked her husband in the eyes for the first time on their wedding day.

“That moment stood out to me because it showed how pure the nature of this marriage is,” she said to The Citizen.

HOW THE PAIR PLAN ON MAKING THE LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP WORK

Moonsamy and her husband have a long distance relationship. She met him in 2021 when she was apart of the panel of jurists during the international tribunal on US Human Rights Abuses against black, brown and indigenous people – according to the publication.

She seemingly shared a snap of her now-husband on Instagram in November 2022.

“And then Jihad and Stellan what intellectuals and academics think is beyond amazing even more a brother with lived struggle experience,” she captioned the post.

Abdulmumit is based in the US so for now the couple will travel back and forth. She revealed that they still need to figure out the details of who will relocate where. Moonsamy revealed that her husband is still in South Africa for now but they haven’t had time to go on their honeymoon as yet.
